The Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam-Zuid is rightly known for a number of events that took place here. Former Beatle John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono stayed in bed for an entire week (room 702) during their honeymoon to promote world peace. A few years later, in 2011, Dutch artist Herman Brood jumped from the roof of this hotel.
