Often, this play on words most accurately describes the situation of storing various pots, lids, assorted kitchen gadgets and accessories in the kitchen. Moreover, it's not about the regular cook‐offs for the title of best chef, but about the ever‐growing amount of kitchenware that threatens to take up every spot—or end up dumped in one heap like a mass grave.
You'll be surprised, but there are simple ideas that will help you organize space, make kitchen work maximally simple, useful, and even bring pleasure from preparing your dishes.
Use hooks to attach pot lids to the inside of the cabinet door. This will save space and time needed to find them when necessary.
A pull‐out block for knives. Place such a block in the pull‐out drawer of the kitchen table and your knives will be in one place and at the same time hidden from sight when you are not using them.
A pull‐out drawer can also be used for towels, soap, rags, and dish‐washing supplies. It’s good if such a drawer is located close to the sink.
