There are builders such that you cannot look at the result of their work without tears. What would you say if they handed you a crooked house? As it turns out, such a house exists and was created according to the project of Polish architects – the Szotyński and Zalewski, who in turn were inspired by the works of artists Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Oskar Dahlberg. The crooked house is located in the Polish town of Sopot, and it truly has not a single right angle. The architects approached the realization of their idea so creatively that Krzywy Domek became world-famous. The total area of the building is 4000 square meters, and it houses a shopping center, shops, cafes and restaurants, radio stations, and several local museums (the Maritime Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Crafts), as well as clubs and pubs. There is also its own “Wall of Fame” in the crooked house, which is an analogue of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
