At the same time, ceramic brick is still used in construction, as it possesses qualities that many other popular building materials lack. Even with its high cost, it provides exceptional durability of brick buildings. External brick walls do not require additional insulation and have a flawless aesthetic appearance.

Thus, properly executed brickwork is very difficult to destroy, not without reason the walls of many ancient fortresses were built precisely from ceramic brick. Numerous brick buildings constructed from this material hundreds and thousands of years ago still stand to this day, and many are suitable for operation.

Man came up with the idea of firing clay to obtain high-quality items very long ago, several tens of thousands of years ago. Initially these were ornaments, then dishes and other household items. Many scholars believe that ancient people began to use fired brick for laying furnaces in which they obtained refractory metals – bronze and iron. However, already in the III millennium BC, practically all civilizations that existed at that time in different parts of the planet used fired brick for constructing buildings.
