Individual gas or electric boiler

Building boiler room (rooftop or standalone)
A standalone building boiler room is a special building in which gas boilers are usually located. Such a boiler room is often owned by the management company or cooperative that services the building.
Rooftop gas boiler rooms represent attic spaces in the building itself where gas boilers are installed. Such spaces and the boiler equipment in them are the joint common property of the building's residents and are usually on the balance sheet of the cooperative or OSMD. Often, in multi-section buildings, several rooftop gas boiler rooms are designed.
This is an important difference between a standalone and a rooftop boiler room. In the case of a rooftop boiler room, residents are co-owners of the premises and equipment, whereas in the case of a standalone one, they are not.
