In the urban area, the environmental situation is affected by car exhaust gases, emissions from industrial enterprises and TECs. The main air pollutant in Odesa is automobiles. About 90% of all harmful emissions come from motor transport. Therefore, when choosing a home, it is important to pay attention to how far it is located from highways and city roads. When burning natural gas, five pollutants are released: nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitric oxide (NO), sulfur dioxide (SO2), benz(a)pyrene (C20H12) and carbon monoxide (CO) from incomplete fuel combustion. Their emissions come from the smokestack and spread at a height of 7-16 floors.

Fire safety in residential complexes
Today, the majority of fire ladders in service with the Odesa fire departments are AL-30, 30 meters long. Only the Malinovsky district fire department is equipped with an AL-50 aerial ladder, 50 meters long, which reaches up to the 16th floor of a building.
Some modern high-rise buildings are equipped with smoke detectors and even fire hydrants in each apartment, which increases the fire safety of the entire building.
