In a village among fields and forests, in an apartment on the ground, there lived a kind grandmother. She was very loving and caring, and everyone in the village loved her. But over time, the number of residents in the village decreased. The village was so small that it didn't even have mobile phone reception. All those who left for the city and bought an apartment there never returned to the village.
To no longer worry about her grandmother's health, her grandchildren decided to take her to the city to the 24th floor of a new building. After all, almost no one was left in the village, and there was no one to help her in her tilted little house.
The grandmother was amazed by everything she saw in the city, the high-rise buildings with fast and silent elevators, the bright lights of the night city.
She soon grew tired of the noise and crowds of people rushing in all directions. She remembered her youth, when she was also full of energy and aspirations to build her future. How she also rushed everywhere and helped her children buy an apartment in Odessa, and how her grandchildren were now well-established in the new building.
She missed her fields, forests, and village, and her small cozy apartment on the ground where she lived. She tried to tell her grandchildren about it, but they didn't understand her.
- Grandma, we're living in one of the best new buildings in the center of Odessa, not many people can afford to buy an apartment in a new building like we did.
One day, the grandmother went to the city park and met a wise man there. He was tall and strong, but very kind and wise. She told him about her boring life in the city bustle. She remembered all her friends and neighbors who were no longer alive, and all the places she loved.
The wise man listened carefully to the grandmother and said that he knew how to ease her pain - the grandmother needed to
buy a townhouse!
The wise man's solution pleased both the grandmother and her grandchildren. And very soon, the grandmother entered her new home - a small cozy townhouse. It was also an apartment on the ground, just like the house where the grandmother grew up. And here, too, there were nearby meadows where the grandmother could collect steppe herbs for tea.
And so that her grandchildren wouldn't worry about her health, they bought her a tablet, connected her to the internet with fiber optics, and installed an uninterruptible power supply so that they could call their beloved grandmother even when there was no electricity.
The grandmother was delighted with such care and love from her grandchildren. And so they lived happily ever after, content and happy.
